Thanks to everyone who was able to make it this month to my Stampin' Up cardmaking event!! It was great seeing everyone. I hope everyone enjoyed the new techniques I shared. I showed everyone one of the many ways of using the blender pen and also a neat versa mark and pastel technique. Well check out the cards we made below. Hope to see everyone next month!!
Enjoy!!
This Father's Day card was made using the Lovely as a Tree stamp. Great masculine card. We stamped the tree on water color paper and then used the blender pen and ink from the stamp pads to color the tree.
The next card we created was using one of my favorite stamps the Medallion stamp. Its so sad that its retiring. Don't forget to order before May 31st! We stamped the image using a Versa Mark Stamp Pad then daubed chalk from the Stampin' Pastels onto the image. Wow looks great!! It doesn't smear!
This was just my own upgrade to the card. I added pearls to the card! Oh so pretty!!
The last project we incorporated My Digital Studio into the project. Instead of stamping the cupcakes on the front of the card I printed the cupcakes on the paper ahead of time using My Digital Studio Software. This stamp set is called Party Hearty! The cool thing is you can re-size the cupcake to be any size! I also added the message Party Hearty! THE BEST PART IS THAT RIGHT NOW STAMPIN' UP IS OFFERING A FREE TRIAL FOR MY DIGITAL STUDIO!!! YES FREE!!!
For the inside of the card we stamped a happy birthday message! Turned out great. One of the girls said this would make a great card for a person who loves to read. Its a great book mark!
Melissa, I LOVE your choice of projects this month! Way to go Girlfriend! Way to use MDS! I think I need to come to one of your classes!! LOL Thanks for sharing!
